The band plays a lively mix of music that falls within the broad Celtic genre and includes Irish,
Scottish and French Canadian tunes and songs; flavoured with original works and world-beat rhythms
Shenanigan was together for a little over two years.
Keeping and feeding a 7-member 'ethnic' band proved difficult
and more lucrative opportunities were hard to resist.
Still we had fun while it lasted, and some of us get together
for a session, sometimes if we are lucky - for money!!
Our album, Mortal Daze, is still selling and has seen several reprintings.
There is a possibility that a new Shenanigan, including some original members, will be re-forming in late 2004.
